Liberty is a form of freedom, so the blessings of liberty would be the the freedom to choose various paths.

In the United States, one of the purposes of the U.S. Constitution was to secure the blessings of liberty.

From the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution:

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.[1]

Ironically, most of the freedoms protected by the Constitution were not in the initial version, but were added with the first 10 amendments known as the Bill of Rights. The most explicit amendment regarding freedom is probably the Thirteenth Amendment abolishing slavery.
